Will the Samsung's flagship product take over the smartphone market?

Samsung, the current global leader in Smartphones sales who have beaten the all time undispute record holder Apple inc, is apparently drawing it's layouts for the future.

Samsung released the Galaxy SIII in May 2012 leading the smartphone market and have eventually become Samsung's best flagship product yet along side with Galaxy Note II which got released in following September.Samsung sold recording 18 million units in 2012 Q3 whereas Apple managed 16.2M sales.

"Designed by Humans, Inspired By Nature" the slogan of the SIII played a fair part of being such for real, when some other slogans have just been left as slogans. Personally for me this been the best phone so far, I believe this has increased my efficiency in a positive way. It seems like the manufacturer have done a proper market research, people research and products research to enhance the most wanted features in an adequate manner.

My favourites and most useful:

  • Smart stay - being the most useful feature as I tend to read articles, news updates and social media through the phone and it stays awake knowing that I am looking at it. Great!!
  • Calender application ; being so user friendly, colourful and easy to organise
  • Social media defaults such as Flipboard; being the most attractive way to read the news, social media and updates like never before. The feeling and view such as you are reading a proper news paper or magazine which has all your favourites and subscriptions. Isn't that a cool thing?
  • Voice commands for apps - very useful for applications such as Camera. All you need is to say cheese/ capture/ shoot etc and you can hold your phone in your favourite agnle and leave the capturing part to the phone. Quite good when I can never reach the capture button for self-portraits or different angles.  Also for most other apps this works pretty well such as saying play/pause/next will operate the media player from distance.
  • Easiness of typing using predictive text and Samsung swipe keyboard, also the bigger digital number pad
  • Proper customisation features I always wanted such as overall font size, menu organising, favourites etc
  • Regular device and application updates
  • Enormous level of supportability and compatibility with almost any file
  • Rich and colourful display and screen size, making it easier to view or organise - Web browsing is easier too, as it provides automatic zooming-in for tabs which are hard to hit. Personally I prefer to use the Google's Chrome browser.
  • Powerful feel when I can run many different applications without having to worry about the available memory or processing power
  • Quality of Skype video calling is as never before.. well, you need to experience that
  • All the animations have been designed to feel natural and not to exaggerate
  • Easy task killer - One press of the main button will open the very user-friendly task killer where you just need to swipe out the application.
Aren't these the options that anyone would love to have in any phone, or most of the mobile users? I am not quite sure what more you can expect from a Blackberry as it is used to be the most secure way of electronic communication. But can it support the features like above which any person including business man would love to have?

Again, Samsung is laying out the release of S4 which will be composed of 8 cores with 4 1.8GHz for heavy process sentric functions and four cores of 1.2GHz for general purpose light to medium functions. This would anyway be a 4G LTE probably with a slightly larger 4.99'' screen with 1080p rather than SIII's 720p. And a improved camera such as 13MP for sure which is used in Sony Xperia ZL.

Below is a leaked image of the SIII vs S4 I could find online.
As you can notice, the shape has been differed slightly, probably to facilitate the slightly bigger screen size in a comfortable manner. By the look this is more like the S2 but with huge improvements.

By February, the SIII will complete a good 10 months period and I would presume the new release will due in March / April which is said to be the biggest releasing event yet to witness.
